so, if i were to use pollen, it would make noise right out of the box? just make the connections and case it up?

im sorry if i missed something by not reading enough :(

you are right. except that i have done something wrong and its really quite right now. i'm working on some other shit at the moment but i will be fixing this on future versions and maybe shipping these ones with an extra booster to get them louder. its very simple to do and maybe even preinstalled if you want and all for the one price because its my fuck up.

but yes. add a single jack for the output, drill a hole for that and the pot then attach the battery and it will spit out analog noise.

EASY.

i've been working with a bunch of these little fuckers bending shit and building shit for the tutorials and they are so fucking easy to work with i'm so fucking happy. i've also got a guy that wants me to bend a delay/sampler pedal for him and i started thinking of all the shit i can do with the parasites to it its amazing. like i can use falter to bypass the sampler's clock and then have a huge pitch / bitcursher range that is also CVable, then i can feed shudder to the cv in to modulate that and then i can use a quiver to mod the delay time and add a drench on the end to have a res filter, and then bend all of that shit together etc, etc, etc, etc, etc, etc, etc, etc……..

i know that pride is supposed to be bad thing but fuck that i love these things so much!!!!! i actually get excited to bend shit again instead of thinking about everything i “wish” i could do but can’t.

i need to figure out a way to make these cheaper so everyone can have a few laying around ready for whatever comes up. i'll have to work on that?

Thanks for the link... so suppose I wanted to add a passive ring mod to a keyboard or a speak & x or something (just my inability to find the god damn parts myself is reason enough to buy one) would I just place the module in between the speaker wires and the output jack and then put in a carrier jack?

(and for a stereo device, could I make the ring mod feed back into itself through the carrier input?)

Sounds like a lot of fun... I'd love to put together a nice "multi effect" box with some of these... see how many I can cram into a small case... plus It'd probably save a shit load of money, even if I am still too broke to buy any right now...

sorry i thought you saw that. were you going to grab one now?

like i said i'm having trouble with it being super quite. i only have one that is working right and its still kind of quite too. i'll try and find some time to work on them today and then get some of the SECRETE boosters together to test them together and then sell you both for 29 if you want. and i can also wire them together before i send them out if you want. or if you don’t mind it being quite and you have a preamp or something i can cut the price. i’m flexible

just put up a huge step by step for powering multiple PS's from a single supply. in this case i made a quad drench filter box

well i was going to get pollen instead of building an atari punk console as a basic signal generator thing...i juts really wanted a signal with variable pitch so i can add a series of pushbuttons and trim pots to creat my own keyboard...or something like that...if that works out the way it does in my head then i might add a parasite like drench for some cool effects...

i may not need pollen and just get drench or something if my atari punk console works....

is my plan completely flawed and i have no idea what i'm talking about??

well the pollen is just static with a little passive lowpass filter on the output. so there is no pitch control at all. i think the apc is more what you are looking for. if you wanted an oscillator parasite there is the falter, parade and constant. but with a 9v or higher supply the drench will self oscillate too.

or if you want to modulate the apc you can use a quiver to replace one of the pots

so when you say replacing one of the pots, i could wire the quiver like i would any normal pot using the vactrol output? what if the pot utilizes all 3 of its lugs?
