BOSS SP-202
«

So I've been scouring the web for references to bending an SP-202 before I dive in and poke around and found next to nothing. I did manage to find a reference in a forum that says you could possible bend the RAM chips to some effect. I also ran across another post somewhere else that mentions someone successfully bending an SP-202.
Does anyone have any info in relation to the SP-202 or what I should look for if I take the leap and try to beef up this lil' sampler?
Thanks !!!

sp-202 is mainly digital to the max, I wouldn't think it'd be that good for interesting bends.

I tried bending mine, now I have a nice piece of plastic to mount on the wall with the rest of my failed bends. lol.
I somehow killed the audio out it would seem.

i remember reading that someone had bent there sp202 as well.
but as far as i remember, it was only a droney tone, that was just constant, nothing interesting.
i would say leave it be, but since its so cheap, prob wont be the end of the world if you break it, and maybe youll find something super neat
