Just completed my Tube Town "Pepper Shredder" . I used 6111 submini tubes instead of 12U7/12AU7.

Hi,
Wonderful! :-)
I have a question. I'd like to build an amplifier for me and my guitar. The power amp is a monolithic TDA IC.  I'd like to use this unit as a preamp. What is the maximum gain? Did you measure it? The input sensitivity of the power amp is about 1V. (Maybe... I can't watch the datasheet now.) Can it drive the power amp to max power?
Regards
(sorry for my english... )

It'd be interesting to see the load curves for those tubes 'cause you've put some pretty high value resistors on the cathodes. Is that on purpose so they go into saturation at the top of the curve?

Thanks guys, yeah I must do some sounclips! I forgot to do some, as I've build a couple of other pedals since.

I didn't measure the max gain - its hot though!

Sean K - not my design, see the link. Dirk at Tube Town is very helpful with info if you email him.
