Finally!  After months of bot attacks and hacking, I've moved hosts and revamped the site to ensure that it is no longer vulnerable.  Sorry about the bouts of downtime.  In the process I redesigned the site so that it's much more modular and coherent.  Let me know what you think.  You might also notice that I switched board software from phpbb3 to smf.  This shouldn't mean too much change on your end - I did a lot to ensure that old URLs and logins will work - but it should end the hacking and downtime.  As a result, the blog also looks a bit different (and this should mean the return of Tuesday Guts!).  If you experience any sort of problems with using the site or board, please email me immediately, I'm sure there are still a few kinks to iron out.  Also, please post any suggestions for layout or color changes - it can be hard to decide what looks right with only one set of eyes.

Another addition you might notice is the "hosted sites" tab over to the left.  I've decided to really try to put the "s" in experimentalist"s" anonymous, and start hosting sites having do with DIY stompboxes, synths, circuit bending, and audio in general.  Be sure to check out the newly added Archaic Equipment Orchard by forumite Crochambeau.  If you need a place to post pretty much anything related to the topics listed above, please let me know!  I would really like to make this section grow as much as possible... the more the merrier.

I'll also be sending this message out as an email to all board members because I don't expect everyone to check back on the site all the time to see if it is back up.  Thanks to everyone who emailed with support.  Again, I'm really sorry about the extended downtime, it was a real headache but I'm glad to have the site back up and running.

The best way to learn is to experiment.  Try it first, then learn from what went wrong.
