my pre section is not working at all. I think I have some traces touching or a broken leg on a socket on pin 7 of the 386. I had to do some rework and i may have snapped it. there is no way i can rework this board. its just gonna stay as is. I do have a working fuzz though. Cheesy I didn't get to try it with a clean boost in front so maybe thats why it didn't oscillate. one good thing though (or bad thing I guess) is that it is extremely gated. vol turned up on a strat and I just could not get more than 1 sec out of a note. some settings sounded like dirty 8bit crap. I almost got kicked out cause they thought the amp was broken, lol. but one setting really got me by surprise. it was an arpegiator with 5ths and octaves going up in 16th notes HOLY CRAP I want that. but the decay problem means you only get like 3 or 4 octaves before its inaudible. I really want to build a working one but now I'm waiting for parts and a bench amp.

I think I may have stumbled onto an arpegiator glissando octave up fuzz if I can figure out what the hell happened.

The arpeggiator sound is definitely a feature of the PU.  You'll need the boost to work up front if you want the notes to last for longer.
