Dan-Echo noise

Was wondering if anyone has any experience troubleshooting the noise in a Daneelctro Dan-Echo
It's a PT2395 based delay. Looks a lot like a through-hole parts verison of the PB&J. With the speed knob further than halfway up (in long or short mode), there is an annoying whine.
There was some noise with my S-TC delay, and no noise with my PB&J, but the Dan-Echo seems noisier than both (and I don't mean the lo-fi character of the PT2395).
Danelectro won't send me the schematic. From what I've read online other have had this problem as well.

May have already solved my problem:

I was using a Godlyke power supply. Will have try it with another and see what happens.

Helo, I just got a used Dan-Echo. I really like the sound of it, but i find it a little noisy when it is in line.
I read the reviews and the forums and it seems some units are quiet, some are noisy..is it a quality control issue ?..........
