Thanks viewtopic.php?t=81Please use search mate. -Colin Belive me I allready search alot. The reason I ask is because I have no idea where you put the 1K pot/resistor. My small clone is the tonepad one, so it doesn't look anything like yours.

Right... I believe it will work if you wire from pin 1 of the LM358 and pin 5 of the 4558 you should be set. It doesn't matter which side has the resistor. TO use a pot instead, substitute the switch for a 5k pot.

If you put the 5k pot there, then you can null out the thumping that gets worse when it gets faster.

-Colin If I just install a SPST toggle switch. And the speed mod is done. Do I then need the 1K pot you mention in the toturial you have made?

Okay but this new pot(1K) will this control the same as the 5K would? And does it matter how that pot is wired ie on to lug 3 and another wire to the wiper?
Thanks

Thanks Basically yeah... except I don't think you can null the tremolo all the way with the 1k at higher speeds, I can't remember. Wire it as a variable resistor-just like you said, except it doesn't matter which lug is lug 3. Pick based on which way you want th eknob to turn on the finished product. -Colin

I recommend the feedback loop diagram posted right under the tutorial... that one uses the cheapest parts and has lots of options. -Colin
