For me the absolute most important thing is more of a MIDI to analog clock generator...  IE 64 cycles per quarter note, down to maybe 1 cycle per 4 quarter notes via simple dividers...   That way you can sync samplers/drum machines to your LFO's/sample/holds.

-Colin

yeah, I will take one of those as well.

ok here's a quick update on what I'm up to... unless i get really lucky I will need to invest a hundred dollars to get USB burning capability, and more if I want some chips to burn. As i live on social welfare, money is tight so it'll take me a few weeks to get it organised but Im trying to go as fast as possible. After i get the burner, its full time USB development Smiley

I can do PCB layouts from schems if you want.  I'm afraid I can't help much otherwise.  I'd like a standard MIDI jack if possible.

I'd like both midijack and usb if it's possible. I havn't got the skills to help with either the pcb och or the microprocessor coding. All i can help with is suggestions for the specifications.

I'm still not very good at building synths, i mainly use them :)

It would be _really_ useful if you could test the MIDI clock and the DAC tuning, etc... I can just pop some parts in the mail to you.

There is a fairly good chance I will be making a module out of that this summer.
