a very, very dirty piece I just finished:

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6VfimXmYZ6g

made from one of those toy megaphone voicechangers.  now if I wanted to put a dry/effect knob on there, would it be as simple as wiring the positive lugs of the in jack and the out jack to the outer lugs of a knob and ground in the center?

I'm not sure about that question, but your box is very cool.

Maybe it's so simple. You'd better try.

It's not that simple, that would just make a feedback loop. Might still be cool, but you can find a schematic for what you want with the commonsound noiseswash. You can tack the "Dry" level bit onto just about anything.

It's one of the coolest fuzz boxes out there, it's been described as merzbow in a box, I built mine without the clean blend but it works in other circuits.

http://www.commonsound.com/kits/doku.ph ... ound:swash

You want to look at the schematic and the "clean blend mod" file for how to wire it up.

very nice box you have there - I'm trying to get something similar whit this robot voice kit. if you are interested in this small kit i can post the PCB and part values.

there is also the possibility to make a Vocaphonie - but the SR2206 is hard to find ... maybe i should get one of those megaphone -thingies ..

do you have more pics and details of your work ... ?
I'm interested to see more

ouuu this video is an even better example of this little gems possibilities :

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Wx6NwRmIcQ8

the first part is running an sk-1 beat through the input jack, the second part begins where I unplug the keyboard and let the little box generate its own sound..

I'm in the process of setting up a little site with some of my bent work.. The plan is to paint the pieces too, I've got a style setup already with my canvas work : http://www.mattdurant.com
