Hey all, my name is Dave, I live in the near manchester in the UK and I've been doing electronics as a hobby for about 2 and a half years.

I generally build effects pedals but I've been making a few diy instruments recently, such as squarewave oscillators.

I work in a second hand record shop and I play guitar. That's pretty much it. I want to move to Berlin for a while next year, whether that'll happen or not is a different matter. My german ain't so great, ah well, we'll see.

Hi, just  singed in...

Good to be here...Just discovered circuit bending and I'm pretty wild about it.

The main reason for joining is to get help...I'm sorry I'm very new to schematics and electronics so I need your help on those....Later I will post more details about a project I'm working on and where I definite need your help...
I'm trying to build a walkman distortion with feedback...but I can't get it to feedback...the distortion part has worked so far.

Ok more about me...I live in Ghent, Belgium...I'm not that young and apart from bending I lead a very boring life.

Thank you

Hey, im KG or Kage. I took two years of electronics in VOTEC in high school. That was like 8 years ago... I am trying to remember everything I learned as I want to get into building effects and circuit bending again.

I am Quincy.  I has an electronics focus in my high school, but they didn't interest me in themselves, and I thought it's easier to buy the electronics I need, since pros make them sound way better...

...But then a week ago I started researching circuit bending, because Mute Math use a circuit bent Atari with a touch-sensitive fretboard in one of their songs, even live.  This was old news to me, but I've always been one to collect instruments, especially indigenous and weird.  When I found out that I can make my own completely original one-of-a-kind instruments, I'm interested in electronics again.

I'm not a hardcore electronic music enthusiast, but I always appreciated the more wacked out jungle, gabber, IDM, chillout, etc.  with lots of glitchy effects, etc.  I'm interested in messing with pedal effects, digital toys, and analog synths for recording and performing live in a indie/rock/folk/pop/activist/electro/ethnic/crazy-ass whatever kinda way.

Hey I am a new media artist just familiarizing myself with circuit bending techniques - i love it!!! i just made my very first analog synth box out of Plexiglas with built in flashing lights and a photo resistor for theremin type sounds - i can hook it up to my guitar pedal board and make unheard sounds.

Hello.  Brand new to this forum.  Found it during a search for electronic musical instruments.

I am 55 years old, a high school principal, and a singer/guitarist in a classic rock/oldies band.

I like to make my own musical instruments and learn how to play a variety of off the wall instruments.  I have a Celtic lap harp, a balalika, and a set of bagipes.

I am an extreme novice when it comes to electronics, but am always willing to learn new things.

Hello, all.  I'm Micah.  I'm a musician trying to broaden my horizons.  My music background has always revolved around more traditional instruments (guitar, drums & percussion, a little piano).  Over the past couple years my tastes have become increasingly more experimental and I have been looking for new toys to help with experimentation and recording.   I happened upon the Squarewave Parade and some other sites and was inspired to try to build some of my own stuff.  Steven at TSP recommended this site to me and so far it has been a big help.

With no prior electronics building experience and a pretty low knowledge level, I am about to dive into my first build...

Here's hoping it goes well.

Hello, i am breydon.
I play guitar, bass, and piano/synth.  I make music under the name aegent zero.  I recently discovered circuit bending and am working on my first bend of my old Gameboy Advance.  I started today after going to home depot to buy some essntials of circuit bending.  i love noise and want to get a speak and spell because that is apparently the easiest bend.
