Hi, I'm Daniel. I'm a musician and hobbyist of sorts. my arsenal consists of nothing too impressive, but here it is: fender strat, sovereign acoustic, hamer bass (boo, it sucks!), arion dds-1 delay, pro co rat, moog rogue (with a fused and switchable internal power supply i built and installed), 1940 ludwig jazz kit. i also build / repair speakers as a hobby/money saver, and rebuilt a few amps (home stereo amps). i recently bought an old 60's combo organ which i plan on disassembling and then reassembling into a new set-up. still decided on that one. actually that's why i joined this board, to get some ideas! here's my website with my music, if you care to check it out: http://danielh33.googlepages.com/enter.html

Hey everyone, I'm Tom. I'm a student from the Boston, MA area. I just started getting into circuit-bending and DIY stuff, and built an APC a couple weeks ago. I play multiple instruments (trumpet for many years, self-taught guitar for a couple of years, especially).

hey, i'm James. i'm a EE student. i play guitar bass and keys, mostly. i've been making and modding guitar pedals for a few years, made a few guitar amps, and several guitars. i play in like half a dozen bands that range from gypsy-punk to space-noise.

Dan here. I've just started dipping into the realm of stompboxes again. Been a guitar player for 20+ years and still can't play worth crap. I built a Fuzz Face kit from Jeff Bober (back then "Precision Audio Tailoring") years ago (genuine NKT275's !) For some reason - I got the bug again and have been doing some rehousing and light building. Successful rehouses have been the First Act Delay from Toy's R Us and an awesome Danelectro Chicken Salad Vibe that eliminated the switching board, moved the trimpot off the board to the top of the pedal, real jacks, fullsize pots etc. Latest builds have been a germanium buffer and a TB looper and a mucho modded Crybaby. That's mah story. Dan http://pws.cablespeed.com/~danielzink/salad.htmhttp://members.aol.com/my65notch/musical.htmhttp://members.aol.com/my65notch/index.htm

Howdie all, Been lurking the forum for a while, figured I'd make a login for it. Here's me and my music: http://www.rodrigoconstanzo.comhttp://www.myspace.com/rodrigoconstanzoInto electro-acoustic/experimental/avant/classical/postrock/electronic type stuff. Been circuit bending for many years now, and have several diy projects under my belt (4ms/ciat-lonbarde stuff), never designed anything from the ground up, but thats my next goal.

Salutations, my name is Dan. I am 17 years of age. I recently took interest in circuit bending and have very little experience. Right now I am working on my first project which is bending all of my old hot wheels cars that make siren noises when you push them down. It is definitely a learning experience. Luckily when I was younger I put together this electronic security alarm kit that activated using a light capacitor, so I have a simple understanding of what most things do. I have alot of questions too. Some relating to just electronic modification and not necessarily changing the sound. I hope someone(s) at the forum can answer them.

Howdy and thanks for having me!!!! My name is Matt a.k.a Captain Ziplock. I recently graduated and am now certified as an audio engineer. I am an avid electronic musician and I am the founder of Robot Ears Records ( http://www.robotearsrecords.com) an electronic Indy Label in Montreal, Canada. I am also working on a MMORPG project called the Legends Of Kotaros (site to be posted at a later date) Ive done a couple minor bends, mainly spirlunking in circuits. Lately been bending childrens toys and decided to share my knowledge and passion with other benders, as well as raise the bar for my projects by learning from more experienced benders like yourselves. Thanks for having me!!!

Hello All, Just wanted to write a quick introduction. I've been heavy into circuit bending for a few years now. I 'stumbled' across the process while looking for 'alternate' sound sources. Currently I am in the process of getting my website up and going. Unfortunately, I am having some issues with that part of things... my site is http://www.fauxaudio.net Its hardly complete but it will give you an idea of some of the things I work on. Been reading this board for a long time now. Thought I'd sign up and maybe get my 2 cents in from time to time. Its nice to be here. Thanks to Experimentalists Anonymous' creators, maintainers, and community. These types of things are great resources for everyone interested... FauxAudio is located in Dayton, Ohio.

Hi.
I'm Brian, a student in Ontario, Canada. I've been playing music for quite some time (primarily keyboards and guitar, but a fair amount of bass, trumpet and drums in there too) and am starting to get into the electronic music stuff a bit. I've been lurking awhile and reading up on the info available here and thought I'd register so I can inquire more directly.
Thanks!

Found this cool site via a link from somewhere. Cool place. I've been messing around with electronics since the early 80's. Actually, guitar was what got me interested in electronics to begin with. I don't do as much with electronics as I used to, but still manage to find something to keep me somewhat involved. But most of my theory knowledge is gone the way of the do-do. But I'm not afraid to experiment. I've spent probably 15 of the last ~30 years working in electronics, although its been about 10 years since I made a living at it. Currently I'm an unemployed computer tech/programmer/network tech/etc. In the past I've worked on everything from radar detectors to the space shuttles and various space probes (I worked at JPL for a bit).
