Does anyone have the schematic for the Fulltone OCD? If so I would love to get my hands on it. Please help!
Thank you

It's a rat with fet's used as clipping diodes.

Do you know a good place to find some Field effect transistors?

Anywhere.  Probably the most common is the J201, in my mind.

This is an easy question but I am new only built maybe 5 pedals etc. but The J201 FET has 3 pins and the clippin diodes only have 2 (obvious) but how should I go about switching the diodes for the FETs?

Thank you

My guess is that the gate would go where the positive end, and the drain would go on the negative end.  But I"m not entirely sure, you'd have to try it out in a couple of different ways.

If the gate went into the positive and the drain into the negetive, then the source would also be in the positive end? I am kind of lost. I have a Rat and I am working with it now, but somewhat stuck.

Get a couple of spare FETs, and try everything. There are only so many combinations.  I am not up on my FETs enough to know exactly how to place it.  Only 2 pins will be used, not all 3, I believe.  If you wanted to use an NPN transistor as a diode, you would use the base and the emitter. (or perhaps you could do it with the base and the collector...) but it would be base as positive, emitter as negative.  Experiment!

I think this willl be a helping as well, it explains a lot of Rat mods including the FET to diode conversion trick

Ah, very interesting!  I hadn't seen that schem.  So, I guess I was wrong about it being a RAT with Fet's, it's a voodoolabs with MOSFet's.

I actually put some MOSfets into a Ds-1 and I got something from hell it sounds amazing. I took this idea of circuit bending the pedal, I used bend B,but I added two IRF520.

I used this simple diagram, starting at the base point in diagram above I ran a wire shown in switch above. I soldered the source and gate together on the first MOSfet and connected them to the swtich (middle position) then the drain I connected to point A on PCB above,  the next MOSfet's gate and source to the other side on the switch then that drain leading to solder B on the PCB board. I dunno if this makes any sense. but my brain is dead. Ill post a picture or diagram if need be.

The distortion it creates is extremly intense. it is the strongest distortion Ive heard. turn the drive way up and the volume too.

PS let me  know if this was a bad idea and it will blow up. I have no idea what I am doing.
